The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, February 19 reveals Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will admit to Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) she doesn’t trust him.
Also coming up, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will ask Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) for his help. Plus, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will face off about her plans to ship off their kids.
Y&R spoilers tease Cane will leave a marathon voicemail for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Even though he’ll be angry, he’ll apologize for letting her down. “It was my actions that forced you to turn the tables on me.” But he’ll explain he did it for his family.
Cane will ask Phyllis to call him and let him know she’s all right. Then Daniel will show up and tell him his mother is on the way to Milan, to mend fences with Summer. He guesses she’ll try to convince Summer to help her run Newman. But he’s pretty sure she won’t have any luck.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Daniel’s Surprised Victor’s Still Holding Lily
Daniel will be surprised to hear that Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) still holding Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and the kids hostage. Cane will say Victor wants him to get Phyllis to give the company back. “That’s where you come in,” he’ll add. “Change your mother’s mind.”
However, Daniel will say he agrees with Phyllis that Victor would never hurt Lily and the kids. “If you think there’s anything that I can do, there isn’t.” But Cane will remind him he loved Lily once. Daniel will say his mother’s never going to give up the kind of power. Cane will say he has a scenario that could work.
Meanwhile, Billy will tell Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) Victoria’s sending his kids back to boarding school. “They need my signature, something Victoria didn’t think of,” he’ll add. Then Victoria will walk in with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). “How dare you!” Billy will say to her. “How dare you take my kids away from me!”
Victoria will say it’s in their best interest to not be in Genoa City right now. “This is about revenge against me!” he’ll reply. Jack and Nate will try to calm things down. But Victoria will ask to speak to Billy alone and they’ll head outside.
“Give back what you stole from my family!” she’ll demand. However, Billy will say sooner or later she and the rest of the Newmans will need to get over this. He’ll also tell he has as much right over their kids as she does. In fact, he just got a call from the administration office asking why his signature isn’t on the form.
“It’ll be there soon enough,” she’ll reply. “You’re going to go along with my plan whether you like it or not.” Victoria will add that she will call the school and tell them he’s being investigated for the theft of her father’s company. “When I’m through with you, you’ll be lucky if they let you chaperone a field trip to the zoo.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Victoria Not Taking Any Guff From Him
Billy will tell her she really is a chip off the old block. He’ll also say he’s not the reason her mother no longer has control of Chancellor. Cane offered it to him and he took it. In fact, Victoria should be grateful. After all, Phyllis could be running it instead of him. They’ll continue arguing and Billy will storm off.
In LA, Holden will tell Claire that her grandfather is holding Cane’s family hostage. “My grandfather would never put Lily and her children in harms way,” she’ll reply. “If it’s true it can only be a ploy to get leverage over Cane.” But Holden will tell Claire that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) double crossed him.
Talk will turn to their personal relationship and Holden will ask what’s holding her back from being serious with him. “Don’t tell me, you came out here hoping to dig up more dirt about what happened years ago with Audra,” he’ll say. “Seriously? Are you ever gonna let this go?” But Claire will say she knows how much damage living a lie can do.
“That’s why I’ve chosen to live my truth and I have no patience for anyone who hasn’t made that same choice.” Claire will say she found out the art dealer disappeared. Holden will lie and say he and Audra didn’t do anything to the guy.
“I’m not saying you’re some cold blooded killer,” Claire will reply. “But for all I know things got out of hand after you confronted the guy, maybe it was an accident so the two of you covered it up?” And he still won’t tell her the truth.
Finally, Holden will say the art dealer wasn’t a nice guy and probably rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. He’ll double down and say he told her everything. “I have a feeling in my gut it’s not the whole story,” she’ll reply. “Until you decide to be honest with me, we have to stop seeing each other.”
